VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation's Night of a Thousand Stars Gala celebrates the leading-edge medical care, treatment and research performed by highly skilled health care professionals at VGH, its affiliated hospitals, services and programs. This sophisticated event brings together over 600 business, community and healthcare leaders in support of our province's most specialized hospitals and medical research organizations.

Gala celebrates the donors who help our hospitals deliver the best of health and includes the presentation of the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation Leadership Award.

This prestigious award is presented to an individual or family in our community for their exemplary philanthropic leadership. 2012 will see the honoring of Syd and Joanne Belzberg as they join the distinguished list of past recipients including Robert and Lily Lee, Joseph and Rosalie Segal, Gordon and Leslie Diamond, David and Brenda McLean, Peter Bentley, and the late Jack Poole.

Event proceeds support the Best of Health Fund; a critical resource to enhance adult health care at our hospitals.
